KBR Raised to Buy at BB&T Capital; $37 PT


KBR, Inc. (NYSE:KBR) was boosted from Hold to Buy by an analyst at BB&T Capital on Tuesday, reports Street Insider. BB&T Capital set a new price target for the firm at $37.00. Shares of KBR are trading 6.17% higher Tuesday afternoon at $31.33. On December 08, 2010, KBR was upgraded to Buy from Neutral at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS). The company has reported $10.7 billion in sales over the past 12 months and is expected to report $9.9 billion in sales in the next fiscal year.

QR National listed on the stock exchange


It is Australia’s biggest public float since Telstra — Queensland rail company QR National was listed on the stock exchange today. The sale is the centrepiece of a suite of contentious asset sales by the Queensland Government. Roger Montgomery said the long-term intrinsic value of the company is a lot lower and the government in Queensland did get a lower price than what they’d hoped. Yandex Prices IPO at $25, Opens Up 40%, Raises Most By Internet Co. Since Google


Russian Internet search company Yandex (NASDAQ:YNDX) priced its IPO at $25 yesterday; above its already upwardly revised estimated price range of $22 – $24 a share. The company and its investors offered 52.2 million shares in total, raising just over $1.3 billion. That’s the largest amount of money raised by an Internet company since Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) raised $1.67 billion in its 2004 IPO. The stock initiated trading on the Nasdaq stock market under the symbol “”YNDX”" at about 11 am, and is currently trading up about 40% at around $35 per share. Based on a $35 per share price, the company has a market capitalization, or value, of about $11.2 billion. Its underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) and Deutsche Bank Securities (NYSE:DB), also have the option to sell an additional 5.2 million shares at the $25 IPO price to cover over-allotments.
